Every useful contribution matters.
A small symbol beside a username recognizes how someone has helped preserve a story.
Member marks
Useful work earns recognition.
A mark beside a username shows how that member has helped the archive. Marks are earned through approved contributions—not clicks, time online or the number of comments posted.
Shared an approved memory, photograph or identification.
Added a useful source or helped document a claim.
Completed trusted on-location or case-building work.
Accuracy matters more than volume. A hundred comments will never outweigh one useful, well-supported contribution.
