How the archive works
Anyone may read. A confirmed free membership is required to post, and private account information is not displayed. Forum conversations publish under a chosen public username. Material offered to an official case file is reviewed separately before it becomes public.
We distinguish documented evidence, firsthand memory, local tradition and unresolved questions. That separation is central to the project: uncertainty belongs in the record when it is honestly labeled.
Help complete a story
You do not need to know everything. A date, street, former employee’s name, photograph, receipt or correction may be the exact piece someone else has been missing.
