Request a correction
Include the page link, the exact statement or caption, what you believe should change, and any record that supports the correction. A family memory is still useful; please identify it as a memory so it can be labeled correctly.
Photograph, privacy or takedown request
If you own material displayed on the site, appear in an image, represent an estate or archive, or believe a page exposes private or sensitive information, email hello@lostplacessociety.com and include:
- the exact page link;
- a description of the photograph, passage or file;
- your connection to the material or person affected;
- the change you are requesting; and
- a safe way to contact you privately.
The item may be temporarily limited while the request is reviewed. The Society may ask for enough information to verify a rights claim, but please do not send unnecessary identification documents or sensitive personal records.
Contribute to a case
Email is best for administrative questions. Memories, photographs and research intended for a case should use the reviewed contribution form so publication permission and attribution stay connected to the material.
