One person may have a photograph. Another may remember who worked there. Someone else may know when it opened, what happened there, or why it disappeared.
No one person needs to know the whole story. We bring everyone’s small pieces together so the complete story does not get lost.

Everything already known is placed together. We also show what questions still need answers.

We separate confirmed facts from personal memories, questions, local legends, and things that are still unexplained. Private email addresses and account details are never displayed publicly.

Is it free?
Yes. Lost Places Society is free to use and join right now. We want everyone to be able to explore, share, and help save these stories.
As the Society grows, storing photographs, protecting the archive, and keeping the website running will cost money. Someday, we may need a small amount of respectful advertising or a very low-cost membership to help cover those expenses.
If that happens, we will explain it clearly, keep it affordable, and never surprise anyone with a charge. The goal will always be to protect the stories and keep the Society available to as many people as possible.
